1. Who we are
The Asia Succession Review (asiasuccession.com) is operated by SGAI, Singapore. We handle personal data in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Contact for all data matters: jay@sgai.sg.
2. What we collect, and why
- Newsletter subscription: your email address and, if you choose to give it, the market your family’s wealth is based in. Used solely to send you The Daily File and service messages about it.
- Briefing requests: the answers you give in the intake (your role, market, asset shape, concern, optional notes) and your email. Used solely to prepare and deliver your briefing. We ask you not to include names; situations, not identities.
- Visit data: pages viewed, approximate location (city/country, derived from IP by our hosting provider), timezone, browser language, referral source, and campaign tags. Used to understand which content is useful and where readers come from.
3. Tools we use
- Google Analytics (GA4) for aggregate traffic measurement; it sets cookies. You can block these with any standard cookie or script blocker and the site works identically.
- Supabase (database hosting) stores subscription and briefing records.
- Mailgun delivers our email; standard delivery data (bounces, unsubscribes) comes back to us.
- Vercel hosts the site and derives the approximate location noted above.
- New subscriptions, briefing requests, and visit summaries are relayed to a private editorial channel so we can respond quickly. That channel is internal to the operating team.
4. What we never do
- We do not sell or rent the list, ever. The only party who knows you read us is us.
- Briefing intakes are read by the editorial team only. Nothing is shared with any adviser unless you explicitly ask us to make an introduction — and then only to that one named adviser.
- We do not use advertising trackers or sell audience data.
5. Retention and your rights
Subscription records are kept while your subscription is active; unsubscribing (one click, in every email) stops all sending immediately. Briefing records are kept as long as needed to serve you. Under the PDPA you may access, correct, or ask us to delete your personal data at any time: jay@sgai.sg.
