1. Who operates this site

asiasuccession.com (“the Review”) is a publication operated by SGAI, Singapore. Contact: jay@sgai.sg. By using the site or subscribing to our email, you accept these terms.

2. A publication, not advice

Everything on this site — case files, library pages, jurisdiction pages, briefings, and emails — is editorial information, not legal, tax, financial, or investment advice, and reading it creates no adviser-client relationship of any kind. We are not licensed under Singapore’s Financial Advisers Act and do not sell, rank, or recommend insurance or investment products. Before acting on anything here, take advice from a licensed professional in the relevant jurisdiction who knows your family’s facts.

3. The introducer relationship, disclosed

The Review does not currently operate any introducer arrangements and receives no payment from advisers. If, in future, you ask us for an introduction to a licensed adviser and we make one, it will be under a written introducer agreement, disclosed to you on the introduction itself, with the amount stated on request. We only ever introduce; we do not advise, arrange products, or handle client money. No adviser can pay for coverage in the case files or the library.

4. Accuracy, dates, and corrections

Facts on this site carry the date they were last verified against a primary source, and laws, thresholds, and cases change after that date. Case files are built from public records and reputable reporting; where we infer, we say so. Errors are corrected visibly in the corrections log — if you find one, write to jay@sgai.sg.

5. Use of our content

You may share links, forward emails, and reuse our case cards intact (unmodified, watermark included). Republishing substantial portions of articles requires permission. Third-party photographs are used under their stated licences with attribution; the credit lines are part of the work and must travel with it.

6. Liability

The site is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, SGAI accepts no liability for decisions made or not made in reliance on the site’s content, for the acts of any adviser we introduce, or for interruptions to the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts. See also the privacy policy.
